Montgomery County, TX – A man was killed and a passenger and the driver of another vehicle were injured in an automobile accident in Montgomery County, Texas.
The Montgomery County Police Reporter reported the Texas Department of Public Safety investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on SH 105, seven miles east of Cut and Shoot, Texas.
Reports indicate that around 4:26, a 2007 Honda driven by Christopher Palomo (20-years-old) of Crosby, Texas, was leaving Olde Security Flea Market and attempted to turn west onto SH 105 when the accident occurred. A 2020 3500 Dodge Ram pick-up truck, driven by Russell Jeffcoat of Cleveland, Texas, was traveling east on SH 105 and collided with Palomo's vehicle. Christopher Palomo was killed in the accident. His passenger, Nayeli Palomo (18-years-old), from Crosby, Texas, was taken to Conroe Regional Medical Center. Jeffcoat, who is 41-years-old, was also taken to Conroe Regional Medical Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
