Houston, TX – A former LSU basketball player was seriously injured and another person was killed in a head-on accident with a suspected drunk driver.
According to WBRZ2, former LSU basketball player, Daryl Edwards, Jr., was an occupant in a vehicle that was hit head-on by suspected drunk driver, Bobby James Brown, who was driving the wrong way on Westpark Tollway in Houston, Texas.
Edwards, who was one of four occupants, sustained broken legs and injuries to his right elbow and lower spine. Another passenger in Edwards' vehicle was killed.
Brown was charged with intoxication manslaughter as a result of the accident.
The fatal accident happened around 2:00 a.m.
