Lawsuit Filed Against Local Bars For Injury Victim

Posted by Jimmy Sunosky | Jul 03, 2020 | 0 Comments

The attorneys at Hernandez Redden Sunosky, LLP filed suit on behalf of woman who sustained serious injuries from the careless actions of a drunk driver and the bars that served him alcohol.  The drunk driver had been overserved alcohol by two local bars, despite being visibly and obviously intoxicated.

Texas has a law known as the Dram Shop Act.  This statute holds bars, and other establishments who sell alcohol, liable for serving alcohol to individuals who are obviously intoxicated.

Those that sell alcohol have a duty to stop serving alcohol to customers who are obviously intoxicated.  Innocent people in the community unnecessarily pay the price for bars who value profits over the safety of others.  The Houston TX Dram Shop Liability Attorneys at Hernandez Redden Sunosky, LLP look forward to holding the bars responsible for our client's injuries and losses.  The suit was filed in Harris County, Texas.
