Crash reports: Following a serious accident, officers will investigate the accident. They will give their perspective of how the accident occurred. Their version of events could help your case. In some cases, their analyses could be wrong.
Photographs: Photos can help establish the cause of the accident. Photos of the accident scene, vehicle damage, skid and tire marks, etc. can show how the accident occurred.
Video: Videos from traffic cameras or gas stations, video from an in-dash surveillance camera, a passerby who happened to record the events or a news crew can help document the scene. This potentially valuable evidence can show how the events occurred.
