Baytown, TX Motorist Injured by Suspected Drunk Driver

Baytown, Texas – A driver was killed and another was injured in a head-on collision in Baytown, TX.

ABC13 reported a driver of a Nissan was traveling at an excessive speed when it crashed head-on with a Chevrolet Tahoe that was stopped at a red light. The impact pushed the Tahoe into a ditch and caused injuries to the driver. The driver of the Tahoe was taken to the hospital in stable condition.  The driver of the Nissan was killed in the accident.

Investigating officers found alcohol in the Nissan and suspect the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol.

The investigation is ongoing.
